This Privacy Policy explains how BhagawatiApp ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the HolyBible mobile application ("App").

HolyBible is an independently developed Bible reading application providing offline Bible reading, Bible search, saved verses, and related reading features. The App does not require users to create an account.

In short: Core Bible reading and search are designed to work offline. We do not require your name, email address, phone number, or similar personal information to use the core App. HolyBible is supported by advertising through Google AdMob.

1. Information Stored Locally

Depending on the features you use, HolyBible may store the following locally on your device:

This information is intended to remain on your device and is not automatically transmitted to BhagawatiApp servers. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may remove locally stored information.

2. Offline Bible Content and Search

Supported Bible content is stored locally so reading and search can work without a continuous internet connection. Searches against locally stored Bible content are processed on the device and are not intentionally sent to BhagawatiApp servers.

3. Advertising

HolyBible is supported by advertising. We use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, and/or app-open advertisements where implemented.

Because advertising is provided by a third-party platform, Google and its partners may process information associated with the device, app, and advertising activity to provide, measure, secure, and improve advertising services. Depending on device settings, consent, region, and applicable requirements, this may include advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, approximate location derived from IP or other signals, ad interaction information, and diagnostic or performance information.

The exact information processed by Google can vary according to the user's device, consent choices, regional requirements, and Google's advertising configuration.

4. Advertising Choices and Privacy Controls

Where required by applicable law, we use Google's consent and privacy tools to provide users with appropriate choices about advertising and related data processing.

Where applicable, the App may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent or privacy choices. Depending on location and applicable law, users may receive choices relating to personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, or restricted data processing.

5. Information We Do Not Require

HolyBible does not require an account for core functionality. We do not intentionally request your name, phone number, postal address, or contact list for core Bible reading features. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide and may use it to respond.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services necessary for platform, advertising, consent, diagnostics, or other supported functionality. These may include:

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information directly. Information may be processed or shared with service providers when necessary to provide the App, display advertisements, comply with legal obligations, protect the App and users, prevent fraud or abuse, or operate the service.

Advertising-related information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described in their policies and according to applicable consent and privacy choices.

8. U.S. Privacy Rights

Certain U.S. states provide residents with additional privacy rights, which may include rights to know, access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activities, as applicable.

Some advertising-related choices are handled through Google's privacy and consent mechanisms. Where applicable, HolyBible will provide the privacy choices required by law.

9. Other Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable laws may provide additional rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent through available privacy controls where applicable.

10. Data Retention

Information stored locally by the App remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, subject to your device and operating system. Information processed by third-party services is retained according to their applicable policies and practices.

11. Data Security

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the App to protect information under our control. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because many HolyBible features operate locally, you should also use the security features provided by your device.

12. Children's Privacy

HolyBible is intended for a general audience and is not knowingly directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action as required by law.

13. International Data Transfers

Third-party service providers such as Google may process information on servers located outside your country of residence. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the relevant provider's legally recognized mechanisms may apply.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date.
